Happy in Wengen

I sometimes wonder what I would be doing if I had not found Wengen,
I found this little village quite by accident and I am amazed every day how clean and beautiful it really is
That is why my best mate from back Home in Wales, Brian Kinsey wants to keep visiting it is a little piece of heaven in the Allgäu Alpland
Where the people are so friendly  and polite, and you feel safe and at the same time you are not far from the Regional metropole of Kempten or the Capital of Munich,Wander in the mountains in Summer or sking in Winter.
Great Alpsee
Kempten is reputed to be the oldest city in Germany and was a stronghold for the Romans and of course we have the fairy castle of Neuschwanstein not very far away on the border of Austria set in an Idylic area and built by King Ludwig 11. Who was a mesmorising figure who has prompted many articles to be written about him,his friendship with Richard Wagner and his eccentric ideas which I find to be of utter brilliance. The King of Bavaria who had the vision to build so many Castles of extreme beauty which are visited by Thousands of tourists every day.

Neuschwanstein

I can recommend that everyone visits Germany,Come to Allgäu and enjoy the friendly atmosphere, great cooking and the sights that I have shown you here
